We're moving to the country!

Well we already live in a small town, now we're moving to a larger property with the potential to offset our daily living costs with gardening and other self-managed tasks.

I've already started bucking and splitting wood for the winter. It's slow going to start, but I know I'll get faster as I do more. It's not very time-effective, but it gets me away from the computer screens and out into the fresh air. It's also nice to have some of my living requirements satisfied "off-grid"

This is no more

Sometimes it seems that life just craps on you. You get going on something you like, start getting involved and then it explodes in your face.

It turns out though, that if you dig a little deeper and work your way through the process, the explosion can be a motivator for some very positive outcomes and can be beneficial for all involved.
